My Blog Turning 1

Special dedication
to all friends:
Turning 1
and embracing the future with thankfulness.

Today, mark my 1st anniversary in blogging.
I signed up and open for a blog in July 2008 and I only officially started blogging on 28th August 2008. that day. Since then, I never look back.
I really love blogging but somehow blogging takes up a lot of my personal quality time.
Thus, if you noticed, I have slowed done gradually. As for today, I cancelled my workshop to concentrate blogging and commenting.

I have learned and made a lot of friends through blogging. Without this platform, may be I am still in my old self. (I have the courage to create almost every times, every where and everyday!)
Thank you to all friends who continue dropping by and giving constructive encouragements to me.
It's so important for me and I have seen myself grown so much. Thank you.

Yes, thank you for those who are polite and coming back for support.
Those that follow do understand. I am marrying both the concept and various techniques together.
So come to the conclusion, I must stick to one or two styles that I am most comfortable with.

I have so many plans in mind, I have spoken to a few friends with the same souls. I am achieving my dream slowly. I am so happy. For this reason, I will spend more time working on my personal project.

Now is the time for thanks giving and special thanks to:
God, my heavenly father of omnipotent!
He has blessed the gift of creating to me.
I will continue to use this gift to glorify him:)

Kak Emila, my artist blogger friend, she is my inspiration to creating.
I have learned some illustration tips from her.

Ms Yong, an entrepreneur of baby retail business.
She shares with me her business strategies and I am looking forward to working with her.

Ms. Wong, my contractor friend, she is a very helpful person.
She advises me on the matter of budgeting and management.

Hui Ling, my friend and loyal customer.
She always gives me the best ideas to create.

Owl Eng, my talented artist friend.
She is very positive and always giving me thumb up positive comments.
Parisa Mahmoudi, my friendly artist friend from Iran.
She always gives me the support and cheers to be positive.

My Cactus Monday & Illustration Friday friends.
They always inspire me to do better and better, especially to those that have given me awards. ( I will post the outstanding awards soon)
BloggerUited's friends.
They are a group of young, dynamic, creative, funny and beautiful people that make my days extra happy. I love reading their entries.

My Entrecard's friends.
Their endless support to drop EC to my blog with great commitment.

Everyone that have dropped by.
I hope I don't miss anyone and I promise & pray that the content of my blog is pleasing to those that love art.
Thank you once again.
love,
Yoon See

Friday Weekword-Aroma ( Perfumes & Therapy)

Perfumes by friends
Love its yellow orange reflection
Beautiful two tone perfumes bottle
comes with Mandarin words "Wonders"

Perfumes are part of daily therapy for health.
Smell good, feel good can encourage a healthy lifestyle!
I would like to share with you my perfumes collection. He..he..I just have two only.
Actually I hardly use them. All are gifts from friends:)
I love the smell of perfumes especially those with very lightly flower scene types.
I don't wear perfumes at all because I love my own body smell, not that I have the bad body smell but I would love to have the smell like a baby, that everyone just love to get closer and feel the natural part of me!

Aroma therapy gift set given
by my friend Tsu San
My friend Tsu San is super good at choosing gifts. Every year, she gives me different gifts. I have received a few earrings from her. Liquid bath soap set, aroma therapy, jewelries, motivation books and etc. I haven't use the aroma therapy gift set yet, I really cherish the gift. So I just keep it as its original state.
So, what perfumes and aroma therapy set that you love and are currently using?

This week Friday Week is Aroma!
So, I am going to talk about my findings about aroma and some related points of it.
For those that follow my blog will know I have been posting a lot of yellow lately.
This post also not exceptional.
Today, I am going to share a post about lemon citrus-
The lush of vivid yellow, its aroma and its amazing facts:)
Lemonade doesn't have a very strong smell like coffee and tea.
But you will notice its exisitence if you are an observance person. Basically, its aroma is very mild, gentle and pleasing!
I am sure many of you have the great time drinking lemonade. The best part of it is the smell that makes me feel happy, stay positive and having a lot of great creative imagination. Normally, a great lemonade consist of mixture of lemon juice, water and sugar. However, there are many ways of preparing it.
In western country, lemonade is usually sold as a refresher.
Some kids even set up their lemonade stand during summers in oder to gain some extra side income.
One more thing, some of my blogger friends and I also received this lemonade award before.
It's a creative awarded to artist that made green natural art!
Last but not least, please use your imagination and a normal lemon can works miracle!

It was my privilege to meet up with my idol cum very talented artist friend Caroline Soer.
Her watercolour paintings are smashing and spectacular.
For those that know her, they will continue to follow her blog as she always update her blog with interesting findings.
As for those that are new to her, please...please..please check out her blog here and you will love it! Trust me:)
Personally, I always love to see her cat drawings and weekly Illustration Challenge's artworks as well as their interpretation! So well thoughts and drawn that I mustn't miss!
For this reason, I had wrote to her to request for a meet up earlier back in May. She had already planned for a trip. So, I waited patiently, keep in touch to check her availibity to meet. At last my wish to meet her came true! He..He..
We scheduled to meet up last two days, which was on Wednesday noon at KLCC Starbucks coffee house.
I was very excited to meet her. She is very friendly and look very pretty whether from her photo and also in person.
We had a pleasant moment chit-chatting. Exchanging some art sharing.
We both love green so much. See, Caroline is in green and wearing matching necklace.
She is so kind to give me a heart gift. Even though it's small but it's so meaningful to me.
I really cherish the few hours we had together and lI am looking forward to meet her again in the near future.

Yellow Blooms 2

The flower power in "Yellow"!
Yellow blooms by the road side.

Yellow blooms in threesome:)
Marvellous yellow bouquet in full blossoms! Gorgeous close up!

It was a lonely and quite Sunday noon while I passed by my Shah Alam neighbourhood. The traffic was clear, not much traffic....I drove very slowly and surprisingly saw these yellow blooms. Without second thoughts, I stopped my car and just stand there admiring the beauty of all the blooms.

There are all together four trees bearing these yellow full blossoms. Really inviting and all my worries were gone immediately!

Happy and I bought back some for flower arrangement! He..he..

However, my brother advised me to throw them away since we have no clue whether the flowers are poisoness or not! I have the same thoughts earlier before I brought them home but I really can't resisit the charm of these yellow beauties!

Yeah, girls and ladies are always in love with flowers!

Camp

A peep into my sketchbook:
A thrilled moment of a fun Hat Camp!
Hurray! It's celebration time.

Camp: Group of people with the same ideas meet.
All participants are wearing their favourite hats to a Hat Camp!

I would love to dedicate this illustration to all August Birthday's girls & boys.

Also, this thrilled celebration mood should be extended to some beautiful kind people out there. A few lovely couples that I know so dearly just celebrated their wedding anniversary recently.
They are Amy C, Sharla.......

And to some that just celebrated their Blog Anniversaries. Soulbrush, Lynn, Monica.....
I might miss some of you friends. If you would love to be added to this list.
Kindly comment here.

Dear friends, I value your comments and supports.
I will come to your blog later as I am busy doing my homework.....marking assignments and practising new songs, doing my revision on some advance theory grades, so that I can teach with ease & confidence!
Tomorrow, I have three replacements from morning to afternoon, I will meet up with my two friends later.
Wednesday and Thursday, I will meet up with another two friends.
I will attend a workshop on this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Yeah, so busy even this week is a holiday.

Friday Weekword 1-Camping

Camping in an Isolated Cat Island!
Fantasy in camping!
Just you & me.
Susan and her cat day dreaming outside
of their camp (cat design)

Friday Weekword for last challenge was camping.

Camping means holiday spent living in tents.
However, I don't have any above experience yet.

I am not an adventurous person, so naturally I haven't try camping yet.......but I love the fun of participation, I would definitely join in camping in the future just like my sister in law did!
Anyway, I had tried jungle tracking before. Quite fun, crossing the river was the part I was timid of.....
Note:
I am not satisfy with this sketch. I will make time to improve it.
Watch out for my update in the near future.
However, I love the idea behind.
He..He..I guess, I always have a lot of wild ideas.....

This friday weekword is Aroma. It was suggested by my talented artist friend Caroline.
Get creative and use the word prompt to post your drawings, photos, stories, poems, paintings or whatever you choose, to your blog.
Please visit Caroline's Studio and drop her a comment if you would love to participate.
Feel free to check out her flickr. There are a lot of great travel photos that you will fall in love with!

Have fun friends...I do and you are the next!
