Inspiration

These are the two motivational books
that I read in the previous month.

Both are sharing the secret of life.
I have just finished reading them
and find them very useful and beginning
to put it in good use.

I have so many great testimonies to share.
 Please stay with me.

P/s: You can get the first book from Popular Bookshop.

The second book is a book of my late-mum.
I feel so fortunate to rediscover it again at the time I most need it!

Inspiration-Suzy Lee

I am finding inspirations to start my own private project. So I search on the net and I am so happy to discover an International acclaimed award winning children art illustrator name Suzy Lee. She grew up in Seoul and is currently staying & working in Singapore.

Among her proud award winning titles are:

WAVE via Suzy Lee Books
A sunny day, a curious little girl and a playful wave - artist Suzy Lee has taken these three simple elements and created a visual tour-de-force that needs absolutely no words to tell its universal story. With masterful use of line and color, she explores the power of the natural world, the nuance of friendship, and even the very components that make a book.

Awarded a GOLD MEDAL for Original Art 2008 by The Society of Illustrators, U.S.A. 2008

THE ZOO via Suzy Lee Books
This book is about the zoo, a strange place where children and adults alike learn about nature, but also about its deprivation and despair. Curiously, children see the zoo differently from adults’ perspective;they know how to make friends with animals.
Awarded as 2008 Notable Children's Book in the Language Arts by NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English), U.S.A.
Here
you go and peep into some lovely THE ZOO's pages.

I pray for God's wisdom, guidance & inspiration on my current & future undertakings.

Merdeka Celebration Challenge by S. Amin Shahab
Artist Statement

The Mighty pen
They say the pen is mightier than a sword. Indeed it is a powerful tool.
With a single written instruction, it can command a legion of army to strike war. With it, it can also seal peace between two nations. It can also stir emotions or bring tranquility in artistic ways.
To S. Amin Shahab, he chose the latter. In his quest to complete "One Kilometer World", the artist has used hundreds of pens to bring across not just the message of art but peace and harmony.

Inspiration-Dim Sy How (Part II)

Dim Sy is a very handworking and persistance student since young. She woke up as early as 5am in the morning to practise without fail for at least 45minutes before her school started at 7.20am.
I always tell this story to my piano students.
She was the main co-ordinator and one of the accompanists for this event.
Her playing was brilliant and won many applauses from the ground!
The "sound of music" of the show is still playing in my mind every now and then.
I'm glad to attend such a wonderful show and eagerly looking for the next big show by end of the year.
I truthfully wish Dim Sy all the best in her current and future undertaking.

Yeah, here are some extracts, they took more than an hour for uploading!
Listen on:)

My inspiration-Dim Sy How (Part I)

This is my good friend Dim Sy How, she is a very talented music students in MIA.

It's great to get to know Dim Sy and we had became friends and still keep in touch until now.

Three weeks back, she invited me to her college's choir show-MIA Ladies Choir Night entitled "Ocean of Choral Delights". It's was my great delight to witness the success of this beautiful show. I really enjoyed all the songs, among are Japanese, Africa songs......

My mum my inspiration

Incomparably, you are the most precious and wonderful mother in the world.

We are very much impressed, encouraged and appreciated the spirit of your strong endurance in hardship and life’s crisis.

Being a wife to family and our late father, you have faithfully expressed your total love, loyalty and support.

Thanks God for giving us such marvellous mother. We always treasure deeply in our hearts and memories that in God’s own plan and timing, he has saved you into His Eternal Kingdom.

Salvation belongs to the Lord!
