Today, my piano students have finally finished their music theory exams.

I can have some temporary reliefs but must continue to prepare them for the next upcoming exam on August.

Patience...patience...patience!

Do you know that I woke up as early at 5am to pray for them. Actually I was worried! Then, I headed out early at 7am to fetch one of my students to the exam venue by 8.30am, drop him then go for my yoga class. I went to pick him just after my class finished-----Ha...Ha...just on time......

Then, I headed for my next class by requested even this week is a holiday. ( my students need my assistance on their holiday homeworks & projects.)

I hope to get some good rest but I know it's impossible......I got to be more effective with multi-tasking....and I am happy to see the result on the goals I am planning on......just like my degree design's concept title "Calm in the Storm."

I already got some ideas and would love to do some "love" projects......(see the above).

ABRSM new syllabus

Last week, I went to the Jabatan Pendidikan Selangor to visit my officer friend, Kak Normala.
According to her, the Practical result will be out somewhere this week. I just can’t wait to know my students results.
I got this new syllabus of ABRSM 2009-2010 from her.
Music teachers need to incorporate the new scale syllabus from next year onwards. The lower grades scale and sight reading tests have been made easy too.
Now, lower grade students should be able to get better result.

These are the exam fees for practical and theory ABRSM exam. Well, there are some slight increments each year.
