IF-Myth

This is a myth 神話 or traditional folklore about a

 Growing with Sang Kancil stories.....

As far that I can recall,
I enjoy every single moment
reading it over and over when I was little.
From its fairytale pictures to its beautiful stories' lines..
and to doodling my own version too!

Today,
I want to retell this story with
my art creation here below.

Celebration of my new fashion fiesta!

Lately besides green, my love & exploration
to blue & red colours are on the rise!
I start wearing other colours besides my favourite green.

All my students and friends do compliment my change on my fashion style
"You look so different and great of late!"

So, I know I am ready to invest more on these two colours!
In fact, I have started the investments a few year back.
I can only wear them this year since I have no chance for the last few years...
Thank you God that my road to recovery is almost done!
It's a greener pasture just like my blog title is.
Yup, not just that, I have added an extra wardrobe since last year....

The girl above wearing butterfly blouse and  with her little smile,
she still looks charming and confident, ready to sprinkle
some magic and charm to you!

.A visit to Institut Kraf Negara-Part 3

Below are some images showcasing both the finished and unfinished works of rattan furniture.
I personally like the 3rd image due to its simplicity in shape and  its rhythmical approach in pattern design.
Now, it's your turn , which is your favorite?

A visit to Institut Kraf Negara-Part 2

Sorry for not able to be here for weeks.
Among the creations that I share are light crafts, baskets, vases and fine art displays.
I hope you continue to enjoy the second part as I do.

A visit to Institut Kraf Negara-Part 1

Institut Kraf Negara

 Multiple blossoms rattan basket
 Blue whale rattan basket

Last May, I visited Institut Kraf Negara that situated at Rawang

I was so lucky to have my talented blogger friend Rizal with me the whole session, he is the senior lecturer in IKN. It's a guided tour together with him and he introduced all the art departments here in details. Among there are art departments for batik, wood craft, rattan and ceramic. But I have a particular interest in rattan art as I have never witness such innovative creations by our local craft students before. Each piece is excellently designed & executed. I especially have an eye for the yellow bloom rattan basket. shown above.

My whole journey was throned with lots of excitement & surprises, I was given some beautiful souvenirs to bring home. Indeed, it's a satisfying visit and I am hoping to make another visit again!
