Batik Painting-Lizard

This was my first attempt to paint on batik during 2007.
I love the end result but I must confess that I should have been more careful while applying wax.
Well, have you spotted it? The white relief batch is here permanently. I can't undo it!
Anyway, I really treasure this experience and will plan to do at least another 12 this year!
(one for each month)
So stay tune!

At first glance, I thought it was a decorative silk throw pillow cover! This one's a beauty. I really like what you've done here.
The lizard glows against that green paint on batik. Beautiful art work! You are going to make one for each month? I can't wait to see the next one!
You should make pillow cases out of these :-)

Oh my GOODNESS! What a fabulous piece! Really fun. I love it!

What? There's a mistake here? I never would have known. I can't even spot it, unless you mean the white oval near the bottom. I thought that was intended. Honestly!

I would never have known that you made a mistake on this piece. It's quiet beautiful with the colors that you used and your design of the overall piece. I thought you were showing off something that you bought at the store! I think that you did an amazing job. I can't imagine the skill that is required to make a piece of art like this. It's very nice :)
