Just a fast sketch to convey my encounter/ opinion with my piano student about the marking system.
My opinion: A for Excellence, B for Good, C for Fair, D for Fail, E for Fail, F for Fail.
My student's opinion: A for Average, B for Boring, C for Confuse, D for Don't Know, E for Excellence, F for Finish.
Oops...I forget the D for Don't Know; I better leave this to you all....

A nice sketch. I really like how you drew the piano, the student and the teacher. Wonderful color used for the piano.
Thank you for your comments on my blog. I'm a beginner in watercolors. Last year I painted about 10 little watercolors and this year by starting the blog I'm putting color to brush a little more frequently. I have everything still to learn, but I'm enjoying it very much.
Wishing you a nice time.

This is charming and lovely!
Oh, this is absolutely charming and marvelous! I love this scene. So well done!
And thank you for that fascinating Lang Lang video. Wow, to have that kind of passion and skill for something.....
Hi, I found your blog via Flying Colors. This is a really lovely drawing! I'm a piano teacher, too, so I recognize the scene... Here's one for you: I asked one of my ten-years old students what mp means. She answered: It means that it should be quite low, but that great-grandmother still should be able to hear it!
