I would like to dedicate this special song "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton to all my beloved friends. This song also is for Marianne and Suki too. Hope you all will feel better, I am sure your departed one is happily dwelling in heaven.
p/s: Noticed that my 30 years old piano is "flawed". The keys slightly sunken, tune slightly out too......
Neither I can't fix it nor the tuner. I decide just to keep it as it is. I really cherish my lovely antique piano. So does it worth an antique to you?!!?

Featuring our very own "Emila Yusof"

Today, my blogger friend Emila Yusof is featured in our local newspaper "The Star" for her spectacular digital creations. I have been watching her grow and mature. She is such a kind and talented young designer. Most of all her is humble and willing to share her knowledge to firend. I share this true testimony because I have been upclose in person with her.....I love to be friend to her. I take this golden opportunity to thank her for her guidance and support she gives freely to me.
In turn, I would like to dedicate these four sketches that I did about a week ago to her. I am sure she will love them:)

Emila had recently finished a beautiful Moleskin series and she is starting a new watercolour Moleskin themed "Nature Study". Please take a tour and be fascinated by her latest wonderful watercolour creations. You will "smile" and be inpired.
She is also the trendsetter in Malaysia Art blogger scene. Her avatars are in very homely Malaysia setting. We as Malaysians are so proud of her, indeed she is doing well in line with our Malaysian slogan "Malaysia Boleh" which means "Malaysia is Capable" in English.
She is so hard working. She produces artwork almost everyday even during the up & down beats. Most importantly, she remians to be my beloved friend that always give me the inspirations and encouragements to grow as an artist. I am so lucky and blessed to know her just like having a scumptious main course at the famous fine dining outlet!

I want to dedicate this "Through Walking" series to my talented blogger dear friend Parisa Mahmoudi.

Still on Pale-Light that Shines

The three stars here stand for the God in Trinity, revealing his eternal love to us through his special "yellow cross."

The cross stands for Jesus. He shines and directs our path.

However, in order to follow him; we also need to take times and effort to work out our daily " Quite Time or "Holy Communion" with him.

Then only our spiritual life wouldn't be pale but mature each day as it goes:)

Yeah, in turn only we can build this special love relationship with him.

Cover Girl

This is a watercolour portrait piece that I illustrated in 1992.

I did a lot of portrait paintings during the 90's where I haven't started working yet before mid 1993. This is one of the best pieces. I think it's good to show some old works here occasionally, at least they can get a glimpse from you audience here but not laying in the store :)

P/S: Think creatively, we don’t need to sing a tune, we can paint a tune; we don’t need form a dune, we can sprinkle a dune; it will continue a magical blue wonders journey by itself.

Children Book Collection

I love collecting chidlren illustration book.

Today, I am going to share with you a creative one.

It called "Good Mood and bad Mood", written by David James Shhen and illustrated by Roberto David.

It is about this little character who choose to respond to the extreme opposite "Good or Bad mood".

They have two story lines here. Full page illustration and minimal text.

I enjoy reading these stories again and again, even inspired by their true spirit to educate kids and adults in a meaningful way. They have also refreshed my mind to be positive each day:)

There are the four good books in a series, namely:

1)"Good mood & Bad mood"

2) "Sunny Day & Rainy Day"

3) "Funny & Scarry Dream"

4)"In the City & In the Country"

I am glad to discover and collect this full set of children book in 2005 while in search of art teaching material for my art students. Anyway one book only cost RM6.95, it's worth collecting!

These are some sketches that I developed for my former Malaysian Studies lecturer. She intended to publish a children book sometimes ago. But she now prefers to concentrate on writing daily bread for a Christian group. Look like I got to work on these characters myself!
