My Blog Turning 3

Thank you for being here with me friends.
With your continual support,
my blog just turned 3 last month.

That is only with full contentment and true satisfaction in blogging

Looking back, my blog posts of this year mainly consist of
sharing the beauty of blooms and also the fun doodles.
I am grateful at least I have tried to maintain
the blog in midst of business.

Yes, I'm still working on my personal project and
it's still not the time to share yet
as I'm also busy with my study.

To date, there are more than 900 posts store in this blog.
Feel free to check back my previous posts,
there are a number of posts that worth reading.

Sweet harvest again!

It's harvest time. My brother and I worked really hard together getting all these coconuts down from our coconut trees. We have very fresh coconut drink started on Monday and will last at least for another two consecutive weeks. I am giving away some to my students too...

I find opening a coconut to be much easier now. We all know by now that we must bring down the coconuts on time and only when they are still young. It took me about 2 to 3 minutes to do so....

I find inspiration to do so from my students' maid....but still haven't acquire the full skill yet!
Yes, I am still trying.....I bet you would be amazed after watching this video!

OK, I got to sleep now. Let me visit some of you later in a few days. Take care and have a pleasant weekends friends and readers!

Another Mouse!

It's so effective! One for two!
We caught another mouse plus a lizard two days
after the recent one with this magical sticky glue!
Poor lizard, why you come by Ha!

It could be our new neighbours moving in, while clearing all the old junks,
there are a lot of unwanted small creatures crawling out from the woods.

Update!

My hard disk broke down last two weeks and it was a new hard disk but old model since this Chinese New Year,  so it's still under warranty, I will get one new hard disk in about 1 month time. The cause of the broke down was the improper shut down of the computer. Reason it had been infected by virus.......

So I was not able to go online until I bought a new CPU. I only manage to check emails in my student's house for a while.

I update the antivirus software everyday, today I just discover another virus in my system. Luckily, I deleted it. I pray that my computer is saved all time. It's my everyday prayer now that I pray for protection especially to myself, my family and friends and my belonging. I also pray that God will remove the sins and curses I have had and also the sins and curses that others setted to me and my family. I feel better and knowing the importance of prayer and reading God's word.  I know God has his timing and reasons for certain things that happened to us.

I have been super busy lately. I took up a ten days Chi Kung last month. I have been busy practising and making it part of my life. Everyday, I manage to practise at least 2 hours, sometimes 4 hours. I feel so much better and see the healing process take place bits by bits.
I want to thank my friend Brenda and doctor for their encouragement to me during this period of time. My thank you to God, he is looking after me and guiding me through.

I was not able to sleep well and having tremendous itchiness at night in June. It was sleepless nights for me. Luckily, this effect didn't last for two weeks, now I get back my sleep and normal route.

With the new CPU, I am able to learn new skill, so for this period of time, I will be quiet upgrading my computer photoshop and illustration skill. I am starting to do watercolour painting too in midst of busy schedule.
In the meantime, I wouldn't be participate in Illustration Friday for the time being. I am developing and working on my private project that I had mentioned before. I am not ready to show my development yet. I will update this blog with pictures, writings and prayers.
However, my time online will be greatly reduced. Sorry to come by late friends, I love visiting and reading blog entries....but that time just not enough!

Yes, I have just introduced comment moderation because I am not happy with some unhealthy links posted here by the reader. To that person that drop these comments, thank you but please take note take it's not acceptable to me. Hope you understand.

Last but not least, thanks for staying with me all my dear friends.

Here I come again!

Path
*This is a short cut I took every morning I jog near my house.
I edited this photo and I really love the result and
it really looks like a great path to wonderland!
And now, I am thinking of the new Disney movie
Alice in the Wonderland.

It has been a long time since I haven't step into my own blog here...

I had neglected my blog..... virus issue then followed by hard disk break down.
However, I am thankful, I am fit and ready to posting again! Just that I am busier then previous months.
I want to take this golden opportunity to thank all visitors and readers of my blog to continue to stay with me. I really miss blogging and visiting your blogs!!!
Some updates here:

Theory exam is coming in a week, which is on the 15th March and I need to offer extra classes to those in need of help and revision.

I had organised a rehearsal for my students two weeks back, the actual concert will take place on 27th March.

The weather here is very hot because March to May are the hot seasons here. I am now sick for a few days the second time of the year due to the weather. I am feeling better today.

About my jogging exercise, I am happy that I still stick with it and my skin problem is getting much better now:) So, except for Saturday and Sunday, my most peak teaching days, I prefer to jog at Tasik Shah Alam.

There are a lot more that I would love to share here.
Yes, I am happy to be back:):):)

Happy New Year 2010

Resting and ready for the next great task
is the another renewal act!
Focus on what we are good at and
do it better and better this coming year.
And become a pro....He..He..
Balancing our daily activities!

It's a brand new year again! I have received so many SMS text messages and greetings from friends from near and afar just to wishing me all the best in this coming New Year. Similarly, my best wishes to you all too this year. May God looks after you and your family. Receiving the best blessing from Him!

Coincidentally, the challenge for Illustration Friday /IF this week is Renewal!

Renewal and making new resolutions are definitely a great start. Without resolutions, we can't move ahead.

So, as now for my case, after four days into the 2010 New Year, I still think living a balancing life is very important! So, have you do so and continue to check on how much quality time you will spend on this matter? Money can't buy healthiness and happiness!
I had been super busy for good and also had took time for resting, visiting so many wonderful places whether alone or with my family. You can check on my Merry Merry Mood (MMM) postings!

Setting reasonable resolutions and try to up keep with them is essential!
I understand that previously from my experience I had set too high and unattainable goals. It should be practical. Anyway, I am quite happy of what I have achieved so far. Lord the father is always guiding me my way.
I have some offers to do illustration works and it's certainly a good start! Good calling and praise the Lord, I am serving Lord and I am willing to be used by you Lord Father!

I don't feel disappointed when things turn out not as planned but understand that when it's the right timing, everything will be fine, just have faith.
Just like the 1st day of New Year, we have guests visiting from far. So naturally, time spent to serve them. Second and third day on Saturday and Sunday were busy days for me. My new work schedules for these two days are super packed and I got to work full day and coming back late.

Luckily, I only got some quality time on selected weekdays to concentrate on creations for the time being.

My resolutions are taking care my health first. After so many trials and errors, I am grateful that my health condition is picking up tremendously. Thus, you already knew that I have slowed down in blogging, posting, commenting and dropping EC. These are a good change and I will keep closely to this pace and I know it's good. I don't want to lose my health again!

I am reading more books now. My happiest moments are reading the lines that can cheer me in midst of business. The inspirations from books are priceless! I have bought so many books and still haven't really sit down reading them. So, I already started doing so last December.
Among are "Bliss, follow your heart", "Beautiful seneses for Family", A Children Treasury of Poems" and many more......

I am making more products and testing products in my local neighbourhood. Yes, I continue my good effort on this. When I am ready (not so soon), this includes a lot of planning and I need extra time to look into the areas that I need to improve. I actually have so little time now but I have to compete with time....

Resume and participate in Cactus Monday and Illustration Friday on a weekly basis!

Exercise two times a week: Jogging for 1 hour as I have stopped my Yoga class.

And there are more that I wish I could share here.....
Until the next time friends!

Zombieland's moment with Hwee Yong

I did watched the Zombieland on 8th Dec 2009 but haven't write anything about it yet, so that's another day to 2010, I try to post my excitement watching this show. I went to watch the show with my former lecturer Hwee Yong after our short discussion on her Christian book's project.

Came all the way from Kota Kemuning down to Damansara, PJ. Certainly it's was not a short journey. Yes indeed, I rushed to the spot and couldn't get parking at the Curve's parking.

Try again.....Then, we headed to the Cinema, luckily the show hasn't started yet. I then collected my tickets for two. We went down the side street at the Curve, freely pacing and looking around. The Christmas atmosphere was so beautiful and it made me sung jingles.......We can't explode the street for too long because we need to return to the cinema...

Shortly the show started, I was so into it because the show had almost non stop thrillers! I must say it's a superb funny show, topped with surprises and beyond my expectations! I kept opened my eyes widely, stunning all the way unbelieving the horror yet thrilling moments were so real and moving! The story narrated an adventure of 4 survivors in Zombieland following funny rules to be the ultimate survivor! So, I hope I can be the scriptwriter adding in some of my KEY RULES too...He..He..

The show ended quite late. I was lucky to stay a night at Hwee Yong's place. Our conversation then shifted from Zombieland back to her project again. Hwee Yong gave me some insightful opinions to improve on the Christian book's illustrations. Thanks sister, it's good to meet up instead discussing on the phone! She also showed me some good books as reference. I have more ideas now!

P/s: Stanley, you should have came....it's a real thriller worth watching not just once but twice...too bad you missed out the show!

The fever of "Zombieland" is on!!!

I haven't been watching any movie for some ages. Just work, work and work.
No play but work don't do any good:(
So, for the last two days, I have the privilege to rest well.
Visited some bloggerunited friends and still manage on dropping some EC if possible.
Write some good entries.....
After reading the latest post and a preview by a talented yet humble photographer friend Stanley Liew. I thought it's time for me to write about this trailer. Fun trailer, everyone like. Yoon See too love to laugh away with this fun action packed movie.
I do occasionally check on Advertlets for its latest news. I also read from some bloggers about their good experience at winning free tickets to show. Same like Stanley, I have't attempt to write a post about why I should win free tickets to watch the movie.
I like participation, I scored full marks for doing so during college. Another reason, I like to meet up with Stanley in person. I am his big fan. I like his story telling and photographies a lot. He is my inspiration to take more good photos. I hope to pass him some candid gifts that day because the screening day itself is his birthday:)
I am so blessed to be able to meet up with my other fans too, meeting with Kak Emila is another good experience. We have been to so many places together. We always exchange ideas on art creations. If I won free tickets, I will not hesitate to invite Kak Emila to go with me. Previously, I invited Kak Emila to go to a few art exhibitions with me. With her busy schedule, she still said "Yes" to me.
Meanwhile, I can meet up with other bloggers too. Now, finger cross....guess who are going....?!
I better get ready for tomorrow I will resume work the full swing as usual....no..no...I got to go out at 8.30am that I forget there are some new arrangements during this December school holidays.
Good for me, classes start early and I can go home early....

You are not alone, tickets for two. Make a date with Zombieland on the 8th of December.

Act now before the free tickets fly away to the first 15 bloggers who blog about it!
Yes, yes....Zombieland's fever is on!
Now it's your turn to win the said tickets, good luck dear friends!

Random Ponders & Blog4FT

"Together We Grow 52 "
is an abstract mixed media art that I created months back
to commemorate Malaysia's 52 years in Independence on 31/8/2009
The green wash is about Malaysian in search of their "Greener Pastures"
The golden KLCC is to signify the 52 years in independence.
White "52" smoke means freedom, creative and constant transient!
The orange bits indicates many countless great challenges
that Malaysians had gone through before the day of its Independance.
I learn from my talented artist friend Kak Emila's blog about Blog4FT, a contest to cultivate the public's interest to share their thoughts on the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan.

The objectives of the contest are:-
To create positive Internet buzz about the Federal Territories (FT).
To promote the spirit of 1Malaysia.
To serve as a powerful marketing and promotional tool for KL, Putrajaya & Labuan.
To highlight the positive activities being carried out by individuals, charities and groups in the Federal Territories.
If you interested to join the contest, visit
Blog4FT website for more information.
The contest starts on October 5, 2009 and ends on January 5, 2010 and is divided into four categories
Malaysian public, international (open to overseas bloggers), junior (under-18) and Malaysian media.

The prizes are truly "WOW".

One of the prizes is a Peugeot 308 VTi + Trophy for the 1st prize of Malaysian public.

So don't miss this great opportunity to take part yeah!

Thanks to my darling brother. I get to read good books.
I am reading this good book "Write to Sell the Ultimate Guide to Great Copywriting" to help me write better entries for the above mention. Mean while, it's to improve my blog content and composition too.

Get well prepare first...He..He..And go to KL to get some good pictures and write...write and share...! Most importantly is the fun in blogging and what's better if I could win too! I guess I am just dreaming.......Kak Emila, I hope you get 2nd place as wished OK! Same goes to all that are participating in the contest.

A glimpse of the tallest star building KLCC in Malaysia.

"KLCC the Night Twinkle"

UPDATE: Finally, I have decided to join the Blog for FT contest early due to some encouragements and comments from my beloved friends in this post.

Friends, thanks for your lovely comments & support. I love you all!
